A radiant sun, singing birds, chirping crickets, quacking frogs, passing wildlife and beautiful old trees. Victoria Farm Guest House is set up in a wonderful subtropical garden and is the ideal place if you want to unwind in a laid back, private and family atmosphere, go back to nature and stay in a stunning environment. Victoria Farm is a 2.3 hectares colonial farm house of 1924, surrounded by a nut plantation and pasture, yet near all amenities and shopping centers. It is ideally located in the heart of the Lowveld, close to all major tourist draws like Kruger National Park, the panorama route and Blyde River Canyon.
The biggest part of the main house is our private family home, though there are separate entrances to the luxury farm suite and to the breakfast room & lounge. Two other rooms are situated in private cottages in the garden. The cottages have been designed in a way that reflects the ambiance of the historic main house. Each of the rooms has its own private entrance. All rooms are individually styled and furnished with good-quality, colonial furniture, including a solid king size bed extra length, covered with immaculate sheets and wonderful duvets. They are all beautifully appointed with spacious en-suite bathrooms and private patios or gardens. They are equipped with a stocked mini bar with snacks, coffee & tea facilities and a hairdryer. All have a cozy seating area, two with a fireplace. All rooms have a shower, one also has a bath and one also has an extra outdoor shower. All bedrooms have an air-conditioning system in place which also can serve as a heater on cold winter days and for those who prefer a light breeze, there are ceiling fans. A selection of quality personal care items is foreseen in the bathroom. As Victoria Farm Guest House is in the centre of tourist territory, close to Nelspruit and yet peacefully quiet, it caters for business as well as for leisure. There is a wireless Internet connection which makes the (business) traveler's life much easier.
Victoria Farm Guest House has a magnificent landscaped garden. It is full of pleasant sitting areas to enjoy the chirping birds and the colorful butterflies, ponds, sculptures and decorative elements, wonderful old trees, as well as countless nooks to explore. You can make use of the crystal clear swimming pool for a refreshing dip. Relax in peace on one of the countless patios, pergolas or the swing which overlooks the natural beauty of White River. Breakfast will be served in the breakfast room or on one of the many terraces, whether on the main terrace in front of the breakfast room itself, the romantic terrace on the other side of the house, or even in your own private garden or patio. Breakfast hours are between 7:
30 am till 10 am. Integrated in the breakfast room is the lounge area, where you can relax, read a book, have a chat, listen to some music, or just gaze at the flames in the open fireplace. Victoria Farm Guest House offers dinner on request, though there are more than enough possibilities to have a nice dining experience in White River and the surrounding area. There are many restaurants, ranging from reasonably priced family type restaurants to up-market gourmet establishments.
