White River is a small town situated just 30 minutes drive from the world renowned Kruger National Park. The town has a number of bars and restaurants, supermarkets and other shops. Within a five minute drive is
Casterbridge with its delightful antique and gift shops, pottery, restaurants and cinema.
The city of Nelspruit is a leisurely 20 minute drive, giving access to the shopping malls, multi screen cinemas and numerous shops and restaurants. Nelspruit International Airport is also within a short drive.
White River is situated on the panorama route giving access to the tourist attractions of Graskop, Gods window, Pilgrims Rest and the waterfall route, amongst other attractions.
Paper Tree House has three bedrooms, two queen size and one twin bedded, each bedroom having its own bathroom, sleeping up to 6 people. One of the queen size rooms being situated on the ground floor.
The master suite has its own balcony overlooking the gardens. A great spot for a morning coffee whilst watching the many and varied species of birds that come into the garden.
On the ground floor there is a formal sitting room, an ideal place for those after dinner drinks, conversations and relaxation. The sitting room adjoins an open plan, raised, dining area. Leading off the dining room is a well equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine.
Overlooking the sitting room on the first floor is a mezzanine and galleried landing, incorporating a comfortable TV area.
There is a large thatched verandah opening out onto the swimming pool, an ideal area for al fresco dining and enjoying sundowners.
Due to the high galleried landing and the unfenced swimming pool the house is
considered unsuitable for children under 10 years.
For the more adventurous, white river rafting, ballooning, microlight
flights and hill walking are available locally.
